About Me
Carmen Ordonez is a senior at the Honors College at Florida International University double-majoring in International Relations and Political Science. She is also pursuing a certificate in Latin American & Caribbean studies. Carmen speaks English and Spanish fluently and is beginner-level in speaking Mandarin and French.

Coming from a family that is entirely Guatemalan, this sparked her interest in focusing on Central American countries within Latin American studies. Throughout her time at FIU, Carmen has been involved in organizations on campus such as Model United Nations, Sigma Iota Rho, Afghanistan Education Student Outreach Project, and Sigma Kappa.
She will be pursuing a master's degree in U.S. Foreign Policy and National Security and focusing on a career within foreign policy.
